Racing Info

DDSC participates in ski racing activities of the San Diego Alpine League (SDAL) under the auspices of the San Diego Council of Ski Clubs (SDCSC).  The races are held typically at Mammoth Mountain where SDAL is part of the ROKKA Ski Racing League where the participating San Diego ski clubs race as a unit.  It's possible for a San Diego racer to win two medals for the same race: a ROKKA medal and a SDAL medal.  Travel to Mammoth is informally arranged/organized (i.e., there are no "formal" club trips for this purpose) by our racing director for all those interested in this activity.

           Dec 7 Thursday: Rokka GS Race Clinic

           Dec 8 Friday: Rokka full day GS races

           Feb 27, 28, 29 Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday: 3 day ROKKA Camp

           Feb 29 Thursday: Rokka Race Clinic

           March 1 Friday: Rokka full day GS and SL races

           April 3 FWRA Championship Clinic at Mammoth

           April 4 FWRA Championship races at Mammoth
